The good thing about the sky obsession with ISAK moving to another club is.. they are driving the price up by whipping up a BS storm. Every ****e ITK account quoting other clubs interest also ups his value..

All our best players will be thinking about leaving after the city experience. They'll know Newcastle are way off it.

This is exactly why it’s so irritating when we perform like that, as we did bs Fulham, and Bournemouth, and West Ham, and so on. I get PSR has held us back for a while, but Trippier for example is trash and miles behind Tino, and even Krafth and Murphy, as a right back. Yet he’s still picked.

The Spanish are at it now:emoticon-0113-sleep

Newcastle would be willing to let Alexander Isak leave for £83.3m (100m euros) this summer if they fail to qualify for the Champions League, with Barcelona, Liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea among those keen on the 25-year-old Sweden striker. (Sport - in Spanish),

Saw this one! Why on earth is it even in the Spanish media? Barcelona can barely afford to register people they've already bought without a fire sale let alone spend £100m on Isak <doh> and £83m? Even if we don't qualify for UCL we have the straight flush in our hand - 3 years remaining and financially stable - and people a playing with a pair of deuces!

That would be rather amusing actually... I think he'll end up at a Madrid tbh.

I reckon Liverpool.

When Salah leaves.

Well they sure as hell need to offer to better than this, that's for sure:

Liverpool are prepared to offer Uruguay forward Darwin Nunez, 25, plus cash in exchange for Newcastle's£100m-plus rated Sweden forward Alexander Isak, 25. Isak has scored 17 Premier League goals this season. (Football Insider)

Shearer's in the form of his life, let's offer them Ade Akimbiyi plus cash.

This is all designed to unsettle Isak before.the cup final
The speculation will increase the nearer the cup final

It happened before the semi finals with Arsenal

All the reports stem from worried teams fans

I remember Arsenal had made a bid for Cabaye in August 2012 or something, and he was taken out of the starting line up for the next game cos he'd, according to Pardew "had his head turned". Bullshit, Ashley saw a big money sale for Cabaye and Arsenal hadn't offered enough, and Ashley just wanted to make sure Cabaye didn't get injured and hoped a better offer would come through.

Isak seems extremely grounded in interviews, and refuses to get into any conversations about being the best in Europe, future speculation or anything....doesn't mean he's necessarily staying, just he's focused on playing for us whenever he plays.

I've never really seen players getting unsettled by transfer rumours.....unless your counting Charles NZogbia going on strike and telling the world about how he's looking forward to him dream transfer to Arsenal....and then being sold to Wigan.

Just read they're supposed to be offering nunez and cash.......hard pass on that.

I actually like Nunez and think he could be a useful player for us, his goals are bad this season but last 2 seasons have been decent. It just isnt a like for like swap with Isak and doesn't make sense for us.

This is likely the issue.

He doesn’t look like the type to let it get to him.

It’s all utter bollocks but the kid won’t stay with us forever if we don’t start to improve in the next 2 years as he is coming into his prime years.
