There are reports on social media that Barca are also interested. They also made the mistake of saying Barca have already approached Isak's camp.

So... tapping up then, right? You are publicly stating that Barca have tapped up our player. Thanks.

Let's see what Barca have to say about that.

Do these journos really not understand how stupid they look when they report this ****e just to grab a headline?
It's not just journos though ie Merson,Sheringham,Carragher,Deeny etc gobshites everyone of them.

If we accepted £100mil from liverpool for isak then they'd have to included connor bradley and james mcconell. But even then i'd be inclined to say no.

Can't see anything other than a substantial record for an EPL player - Coutinho was about £142m with add on's going to Barcelona. Genuinely can't see him going for anything less than £150m GUARENTEED fee's and then probably add on on top of that taking it closer to £200m based on goals scored and winning the league and CL. When donkeys like Rice, Fernandez and Caicedo are going for £100+m there's no question Isak is 3/4 league above all those players.

They don't want to sell him plain and simple.
Everyone has a price.

Isak continues and he’s a 150m player to 200m as he’s a striker. Hes prime age.

If Isak said he wanted to go to Liverpool then we wouldn’t be in a position to stop him really.

Either way we either keep a brilliant player or we bag 150m plus and that opens the doors for significant spending.

Not if you don't want to sell and Isak hasn't said anything of the sort. It's a nonsense story.

Nobody is going to pay over 150 million anyway because they cannot afford it.

Newcastle are going to push on with Isak and if that doesn't work out things might change.

Yes we do.

All we have to do is grow a pair and say no.

There's 3 years left on his contract so we control what happens and not anyone else Including Isak.

£150m gets everyone round the table. £200m for any EPL club, possibly £175m for a team elsewhere in Europe. That ought to do it. If we came out with that we’d sharp see who wants to stop swinging their dicks around and put it back in their pants!

He won't want to leave now that Saudia can sponsor his boots for just £200m per year.
