They wrote Newcastle off some time ago due to the PSR rules. It's kinda strange because the media was the ones pushing he Mbappe nonsense not us, then they learned about psr and started acting like Mike Ashley still owns the club.

The truth is always in the middle.

Apparently if Salah goes Liverpool want him for 100m.

They're welcome to want him but why would we sell him for £100m? I look at some of the players that have gone for £80-£100+ in the last few years (Anthony, Enzo Fernandez, Sancho, etc)and he's better and more important than all of them. We were apparently quoted £75m for Guehi ffs.

Anything under £120m and we've been had. I'd have thought we should be looking for £130m+, if we get £150m+ then I can accept we've done well as there's a rebuild we could do with that. No pressure to sell yet though, still 3 years on his contract from this summer.

He would definitely come to us if the clubs agreed a price.

120m should do it but I wouldn't worry fsg aint about that lyfe<laugh>

Why would Newcastle agree a price.

He's valued above 150 million anyway.

Even if you don't win the league (and you probably will of course) then you'll be in the Champions League and Slot has shown he's up to the job. You've got a young and exciting team and there's going to a space for a player like Isak if Salah leaves. I can fully see where he'd fit in your team and I agree he'd be interested as you're in a position to challenge for honours.

£120m isn't doing it though, doesn't make sense. Anthony £90m, Declan Rice £105m, Enzo Fernandez £115m... Isak is a striker, even rubbish ones go for £60-70m I suspect you'd need £130+ just to open the conversation.

He's really just not for sale at any price and Newcastle will be adding to their best players.

Three years we've been hearing this **** about Guimareas, Gordon and now Isak. We've not sold any of our best players and none of them have even wanted to leave anyway.

Newcastle are here to compete.

There are reports on social media that Barca are also interested. They also made the mistake of saying Barca have already approached Isak's camp.

So... tapping up then, right? You are publicly stating that Barca have tapped up our player. Thanks.

Let's see what Barca have to say about that.

Do these journos really not understand how stupid they look when they report this ****e just to grab a headline?
