I think its a case of when the cats (no pun intended) away, the mice will play. Both Cattermole and Bendtner (if guilty of course) may well rue their night of letting their collective hairs down and pay the ultimate price.

They have put MoN in a right pickle because all the other players will now be looking to see just what they can and cannot get away with under him and 2 weeks into his new job, he will have to decide whether it is better to get rid, severely discipline or forgive as not on his watch. How he deals with this incident may well determine how players react from this point and may unsettle a few others.

What a pair of ****ing ****ers they are.

Its a position he should never have had to be placed in imo and the minimum punishment for me would be to strip Catts of the captaincy with immediate effect and relegate him to the bench at best, put Bendtner on the bench behind Connor from here on in and tell them both they are to play reserve football for a couple of months as well. If either player sulks or twists about it, get rid immediately in January. If Bendtner can be returned fine and Catts up for sale for the £5m or so we paid for him. He would still attract a buyer imo for a top Championship side going for promotion and a bottom 4 or 5 team looking to stay up.

I rate both lads and feel personally let down as I have often supported both when criticised by others but if we lost both players now then I could happily live with it as well.

Syd,do ya what, this site is ****e you and your cronies rule it.
Am a fair bloke,am up for debate but the gang rule

Yes, it is - an amateurish team, acting in an amateurish way (on and off the field) for an amateurish manager. Yes, it is.

I have nothing but contempt for the third-rate, unimaginative, overly ambitious little squirt who tried to swim in Harrod's pond. But the bottom line is Bruce is history. Forget him. Forget him.

Let's see what Martin O'Neill does about it. That's what matters.

and these

He was the twat that got our club in this position, now he is gone thank **** i say ok

So you would still like him to be in charge?
No wonder we are, with so called fans like yourself

Whats up with you?
Dont sound like them ****ers please

I agree with you mate in parts. Unsure about sticking them in the reserves for months but i would drop them for the next game and fine them both a fortnights wages. I would definitely strip catts of the captaincy as you expect better behaviour both on and off the field and catts has shown he can't do either and is not setting an example to the younger players

Actually no, you say the op should be free to say what he likes, then surely syd should be free to say what he likes as well even if its not what the op wants to hear.

got **** all to do with being in a gang, its having your own opinion and debating that opinion.

And thats the sad thing Cest, we all know that MON has a big job on and this he does not need, thats said if anyone can handle it he can.

Point taken. But it was good thread and clearly Syd did not think so.I want the best for my team and dont live in the past.
And for the gang - oh yes there is one on this site .....geeezzz

There is no gang on this site

I think cest talks bollocks a lot (not offence cest) throwing the derbies etc, nd I told him so on more than a few occasions, if there was a gang metality, I would never ever agree with him on anything, but i have, and quite a few things, but the main one was Short taking over as Chairman from Quinn.

There is no Gang mentality from anyone, yes there were those that wanted Bruce out, and those that wanted Bruce in, and those that were on the fence, and we debated till we were blue in the face, but it was just members personal opinions, got **** all to do with Gangs im afraid, its the internet, either get used to it or get the **** off it.
