Trouble in the camp? I don't see much sign of it on the USA tour. The Spanish players who are leaving did not perform for us last season the ones who did perform are in the USA. KI did not play for us at all. So no great loss . Every club gets rid of its dead wood during the close season and we have already signed some replacements and hopefully will sign a few more.

So why Are cornell, jazz and tate There then ? If its down to performance only that is.

Did he ? Oh well at least monk doesnt see him as a replacement for chico then, would explain why those two spanish centre helves Are still here then ! <laugh>

12k a week to play for the u 21 's not bad at all ;)

Why are we not getting rid of some of these players. we want rid of players who will do a good job in the first team and still have so much dead weight that would free up some money and spaces. staggering.

Could this be why Michu has been unsettled for quite a while:-

15:05

Napoli's pursuit of Swansea striker Michu is continuing, with the Italian club's president Aurelio De Laurentiis telling CalcioNews24:
Michu? Negotiations are well under way for months but there is still no agreement reached.

I agree with the comments about Cornell, Jazz and Tate. If Vorm goes would rather see one of the youngsters act as 3rd backup goalie. Jazz will probably need to be loaned out again and some would like to see Tate get a coaching role and playing for the under 21's may be the start of this. The problem with getting rid of this type of player is that they may be prepared to sit on their hands and see their contracts out.

Jazz has had plenty of time now to develop. Time to let them go. Pay them up and send them on their way. There is no room for them now, We have released deadwight in the past time to do it again.

And that is their right, as it's the whole point of signing a contract.

I'm always puzzled why so many players that never get near the team are still around. Maybe no-one wants the or they don't want to leave. You can't force them out if they have a contract. Getting paid, easy life, may as well stay. I'm sure most people would in those circumstances, so can't really blame the players/

Oh you can you can pay them off. Yes it costs but it also rids us of dead weight. I have evry admiration for the likes of Gwion Edwards, moving on and taking the chance on building a career from a lower league.
