Hard for people to understand who haven't experienced it. It's an illness that gets no attention but it can be just as crippling as all the other ones. Lass I knew got to a point where she refused to eave the house, couldn't even read books because women being described as slim or beautiful sent her into a tizzy. People think it's just someone being melodramatic but it's a proper mental illness, just like depression, and more awareness needs to be raised for these mental conditions as no one takes them seriously.

She rarely leaves the house fella, very rarely. Depression and BDD is just a couple of the many symptoms she has with her Boarderline Personality Disorder. She also suffers Anxiety, Dissociation, Splitting and Anorexia, she's gone from a size 16 to a size 8 in two years. She's pretty poorly atm, only 22 and her whole life is on hold why she tries to cope with living hell. :( This isn't Com's problem though, I just hope he understands he's on ignore to protect her and it's nowt against him.
