Why would Miles Leaburn or any of the other black players need a personal connection to Jamaica in order to show solidarity for the victims of the hurricane?
They do all have one obvious connection. An ethnic one.

The clear implication of the post to me was that Leaburn was somehow out of order to show how he felt about the hurricane disaster, if he was not from Jamaica himself. That this was another example of the 'wrong' policy of promoting diversity at CAFC.
That message was reinforced by another post saying Leaburn had likely never even been to Jamaica.
That was mockery.

I asked for the point of those posts to be explained to me, but my questions were ignored.
So I had to rely on my own judgment.

There you go again.

Having a dig at @ElfsborgAddick as well.

Who asked / told you to do this ?

Who voted for you ?

You are not qualified or frankly clued up enough to be behaving like this, and yet you carry on riling people & play the victim when asked to stop.

There are posters on here (not me or Elfs) better suited to Moderate it, and get it back to being a football only forum.

You would honestly be better off @lardiman either on Facebook, or some sort of Flat Earthers, tin foil hats messsage board.

Just please …not on here …casting moral judgements on posters who know more than you.

I won’t comment again. I’ve made my point.

If I thought the post was racist I would have called it out. As I hate racism. But I didn’t think it was.

<laugh> Straight into victim mode.

No, I am saying that you are not suitable to Moderate a forum for a number of reasons, and I and others have put up with your whims and tried to work with you , but you refuse to listen.

As one of the three original posters on here , I m respectfully asking you to either stand aside , or leave. I think we have other posters who could do a better job.

I'm glad your previous post was not intended as a threat.

In my judgment the posts made regarding Miles Leaburn were racist in nature.
Before acting on that judgment I had asked three times for the point of the posts to be explained to me, so I could understand should there be a non-racist motivation that I had failed to grasp.
My questions were ignored.

I have long known that you think I am not a suitable person to moderate this forum.
For the record, I accepted the position after you left Not606 Charlton when you were the moderator.
Personally I don't care what you think of me.

If I read or see something posted by anybody which in my judgment crosses the line, and my requests for clarification are ignored, I will moderate as the situation requires.

It's too late to try to explain now. I've made the decision and I'm not going to reverse it.
I asked for clarification yesterday on the Paul Elliott thread and it was not given.

Nobody gave you these powers , or asked you to have these value judgments, or voted for you.

I genuinely question your levels of self awareness. When a number of members in a small forum like ours ask you to change your ways or stand aside, and yet you just plough on, regardless. I think you struggle to relate to people.

I’ll leave it there now , as I’m sure you will be setting off for the game soon with your ST.

That is a bit heavy handed.

You did, in effect. When as 'the Sheriff' you walked out on Not606 Charlton about 4 years ago when you were the moderator.
After you left I was asked to step in.

I'm sorry you think that.
But when a situation arises that I believe may require moderating action, I am not going to play games.

I asked for those posts to be explained to me, so I could understand if there was a motivation for them that I had not understood.
They were not explained.
So I locked the thread.

I didn’t look at that thread and think it was racist. All Royston said was that he didn’t think Leaburn was Jamaican. Because Leaburn senior was from Lewisham.
My thoughts are that Leaburn's connections to Jamaica are as strong as mine are to Wales, which is somewhere in my family tree in the past 100 years.

I still stand by my comments on Elliott.

However, @lardiman is a nice man, @Royston Hawtrey is as well, and is misunderstood. I have no comment to make on @Smudger603

In the event of a change in leadership I vote for Pubes.

It really is very straightforward.

Nobody asked you or gave you permission to

1. Judge other’s posts by your personal values,
2. Move posts between threads.

Nobody voted for you to be Mod on here. There are plenty of valid reasons in fact why you shouldn’t be, but if you insist on hanging on please can you at least respect others views and desist from points 1&2 in future. Thank you.
