........to talk about next season?

Lot of chat about those coming down to join us next season and we all know the likely candidates, but what about those coming up?

At the moment it looks like Plymouth, Ipswich and one other from Sheff Wed, Barnsley, Bolton or Derby will grace the CCS next season.

Some historically big club names in there - any preference? The only thing I've got against Plymouth is they sold us Concorde Capaldi......<laugh><laugh>

Nope it's not too early to talk about next season. In fact, I already did in the Huddersfield match thread.
I suppose it's good to see the Pilgrims making progress again and the amount of time Ipswich have been down there is a bit of a surprise. The return of the East Anglia derby will be welcomed by a few friends if mine. The Wendies returning so quickly doesn't seem right but could provide a reunion game against us. As for Derby, I was hoping they would leave League One in the opposite direction.
Personally, I'd have loved to have seen Pompey and Posh come up but that seems unlikely now..
So no preference, we'll just beat whoever makes it on our road to glory.

Interesting final games for the playoff places in League One.

Playoff certainties Sheffield Wednesday and Barnsley are home to 6th place Snow Queens and 7th place Peterborough respectively who are still fighting for that final spot.

Both Wednesday and Barnsley are assured of 3rd and 4th final places whatever the results of those games, but Posh need to beat Barnsley whilst the Snow Queens go down at Hillsborough. Have a guess what results I'd like to see..................<whistle><whistle>

At the other end it’s a massive game between Leicester & Everton (plus Boro v the Waterboys)

Got my wish then............<whistle>.

Well now we know it’s not the Snowqueens the line up is known-
Wednesday v Posh
Barnsley v Bolton

No obvious winner out of that lot.

A few ex Bluebirds involved.

Flint, Vaulks and Pato at Wednesday.

Watters at Barnsley and Declan John at Bolton. Don't think there are any at Posh.

All teams have been up and down in the Championship over the last 10 years.

Anyone got a favourite? Probably the Wendies for me. Big club, great support and good to see some ex Cardiff players getting some success. Hope they don't come back and haunt us next season. <whistle>
