We’re all good. I think most teams have sorted themselves out financially now after COVID, so won’t be many teams to save you next season.
Supcon, I'm trying to think of a polite way to say this to you. But I can't be ar$Ed. Feck off!!!! No offence.
This season, yes I agree but clean slate for everyone in the Championship come August. Financial restraints will be a problem for many clubs including ours, but historically you lot have been there just to make up the numbers for the past dozen years. We've been to the Premier League twice in that time whilst you dropped into League One - come back when you've really got something to crow about. No offence of course.
I think he's talking about their women's team as it's impossible for the men to be there next season.
And of course you will most likely sell one of your promising youngsters to help keep you on the straight and narrow with regards to FFP eh? I'm not sure I've ever known a side to spend so much money to either stand still or even go backwards... Of course, Lansdown may sell up to some wealthy consortium or something soon, and that could be the making of you at long last... Or.... He could sell up to some wealthy consortium that are just looking for a quick buck and you end up like many clubs that have gone before and end up sliding back down from whence you came??? Only time will tell eh??
Did you miss something here like a whole season with Bristol City finishing in mid table mediocrity cementing their place in next season’s CHAMPIONSHIP
Not looked in the Cardiff mirror lately then have you? Where did all that PL parachute payment money go…?
That's just it though isn't it... We spent, went up and have then had to rebuild TWICE... For all the outlay of however many millions and revenue from player sales, with the exception of coming back up from League 1, just what do you guys have to show for it??? We've wasted cash for sure, but have managed some qualified "success" from it. Not sure the same applies to you guys really does it? Still, you get to keep your "biggest club in Bristol" trophy I guess? Not sure how much longer you can retain the biggest club in the West Country mantle for though now Plymouth are on their way back up
