Got to 2 games last season, 2 home wins, 2-1 v Palace and 3-0 v Sheff Utd. Bloody expensive when you take flights etc into account. Was worth it though. I can always say I saw Taarabt play in the flesh.
I agree with Kerry, a bit pricey to get over. I'm provisionally down to go to old Trafford. mates a man u fan so he'll get tickets and we'll get the ferry. was hoping to go to the home one but that's in December. all flights and hotels are through the roof coz of the Xmas shoppers.
try to get over for at least 5 a season. maybe 2 before christmas. used to think i was on my own over here, but really glad to see there are many irish r,s, both north and south. love getting over to LR but becoming an expensive addiction!
I'm in Waterford so maybe somewhere in the middle where some of the Kerry hoops can get to? I'm open to suggestions though??
Big respect to our Rs brothers throughout Ireland. Makes a refreshing change to the Man Us, Celtics and Liverpools! Well proud to have you guys with us. It's great to know some of you can get over occasionally despite the expense. For those not able to afford to get to games, take it from me, you're regarded as much Rs as anyone else. I see here that we've added to our regular QPRnot606 complement with Inkedupp, Kingdom, Belfast joining Ciarrai, Twins and some rather reserved guy called Swords! Haven't seen any recent posts from Dens... Cannock I think is also Irish but probably lives over here. Be interesting to hear of anyone else? A couple of months or so ago we lamented QPR overlooking Ireland as a recruiting grounds for support and football talent to date. Perhaps we could organise a petition via not606 and iQPR encouraging the club to include the Isle in its touring and scouting plans in future? If it worked it might give you a chance to see the Rs in your own back yard for a change. Thoughts?
Live in Lisburn at the mo. i remember when the R's had a preseason tour of N.I about 13 years ago. Big ian dowie and the lads. Played portadown and glentoran if i remember correctly. Seemed to be a reasonable number of local fans in attendance
There are more of us than I thought! Cheer's Brixton for your kind comment's. I used to live down your patch, Ferndale Rd, kinda between Clapham Nrth and Brixton. Always enjoyed Brixton, good people.
BrixtonR, last time rangers came here on a pre-season they played waterford utd at their old ground at kilcohan park.Gary bannister had just signed for us! we won 3-1 can't remember who scored? I went with my dad. think I still have the prog somewhere. we'd love to see them over here again.
As far as I remember Brix, one of the guys from IQPR tried to get the team over during the Gregory era but to no avail. We'll have to give it another shot.
Hey Inkedupp, where in Waterford are you? I lived there in 1976-77 at Scotch Quay and later in Woodstown. Great memories of the place, I'll have to go back at some time to see what it's like 35 years later...

Kerry seems to be a hot-bed for R's fans. Don't know how or why but it looks to be that way. Can any of yee cute Kerry whore's shed some light on this phenomenon?? Also Darren O'Sullivan who scored that goal v Limerick had trials with QPR
