Adkins was a good manager without money and, he's even better with some finance behind him. Some top managers never do an apprenticeship, they just step straight into a top side and try and solve problems by just buying more players. Sven's a good example of that. We have good players, but our greatest asset is Adkins and the team spirit he imparts. He's also funny!

Watched the goals. Good movement by your boys, however how slow are our CB's !!???! Seriously, slow as houses. A proper quicker defender really would have intercepted 2 or 3 of your goals. If you watch them again, we're SO FLAT FOOTED its unbelievable ! Tragic defending, good movement by your lot though, fluent to say the least !
As for our goals.... Andrews should have been saved, okay travelling however I feel Davis could have done better. JET's again I'd say poor defending by you, I think you had the chance to clear it.
Well done tonight Saints, I wasn't looking forwards to the game with them two donkeys as CB. I think you'll do well, had you down for top 10 / maybe top 6 before the season started.
When we sort out our defensive issues I think we'll do alright too!

Agreed on that second goal, everyone seemed just watch it bounce around before Emmanuel Thomas put it in.
I hope I don't sound arrogant, but I think it's an excellent Saints performance that has brought on this result, rather than a poor Ipswich one, when we're in the mood we seem unstoppable in and around the box
Yeah I feel Davis could have done slightly better but it was hit pretty hard. The second one was just a case of someone taking charge and just smacking it anywhere. Overall very pleasing.
Just put OXO on. He must still have some of the Saints spirit left in him. No doubt it didn't escape your notice that it was another ex-Saint that won you the match. With OXO on one side, and Walcott on the other, old Theo will remember what it's all about.

I can see OXO being a success for us if we treat him properly. Theo has done some brilliant things for us, and lots of you are convinced that Oxo is even better than theo was at 17.
I know, i've already made myself look an arse with some of my predictions. I've picked Arsenal to win the premier league.
