There is a thread that already mentions that shops are closing cos of on-line buying increasing.

Another change for me is newspapers...i used to get one local and one national newspaper every day. In my day I was even a paper boy.

Now I use the Internet to look at lots of newspapers and news outlets...the guardian, independent, tory graph (i think Matt is the best topical cartoonist atm), the daily heil (it reminds me of Titbits and Reveille? When I was kid) NY times and Post. Also BBC, CNN and Fox news websites.

You think I was better informed now I doubt I am...but it is interesting to see how the different Web sites report the same story eg Fox and CNN about Trump. Then the guardian and telegraph about bonko.

So that are shops and newspapers on the way out what else is done because of the Internet...

I bought a newspaper last week
Possibly the first time in ooooooh at least 8 years
I won’t be buying any more

I am a little surprised that porn has not come up as it were. The professional porn industry used to be worth £Billions, now with amateur you tubes etc, the jottom of the port industry has fallen out.
