The artificial surface was okay for accurate passing of the ball, but made it difficult if you were trying for a through ball....just ran away.
I think the highlight was Walker's Peter Kay 'ave it' impression halfway through the second half. Summed up the Sunday league standard of some of his play. Apologies to all Sunday league players out there.
There you go Brenda!!!!!! Anyway congratulations England on the perfect 10, always easy to slate the national team but credit where credits due.
Well done to my national side this evening for qualifying with 100% record. No matter who you play and where you play the game, you can only try to win and thats exactly what they have done. Next summer who knows - maybe its our turn.
Well said. I don't know what some fans expect more than to win every game. Yes, we were in an easy group, but you can still lose games. Could we have played better....probably...but weaker opposition affect how you play. Job well done as far as I'm concerned.
Sorry but I expect to be entertained considering the amount players get paid and the amount we have to pay to watch them. I don't think that's too much to ask.
The best way is to ignore what some of the posters on here write. The all-knowing few would probably be far happier had England lost all their qualifiers and given them something to really squeal in horror about. The national side have put in some miserable performances over the years and deserved all that is leveled at them. But when they have won every qualifying game - no way ! Other top sides have struggled too, including Germany, Holland, etc - sometimes its just 11 v 11.
Probably not too much to ask, and I didn't see tonight's game but 0-3 away from home ain't bad and not the team's fault that the opposition didn't make much of a fight of it. It's international football and you don't win each game 6-0 I would take a scrappy 1-0 win in a world cup final over entertainment.
