International Stuff

It was a hidden curse that England were handed such an easy qualifying group. They'll go to France woefully under-prepared and so easy to bypass.

Does anyone else think that Sterling is a little bit ****?

Don't really rate him, other than his pace he is technically poor, he has no tricks and his left foot is nothing more than a swinger

December 2013. Spurs 0 Liverpool 5. Sterling ran us ragged, made our defenders look stupid.

August 2014. Spurs 0 Liverpool 3. Sterling ran us ragged. Made our defenders look stupid.

Granted he is not the brightest, but I repeat, he is a good player.

For someone who is supposedly knackered and out of form, Harry Kane took that goal extremely well.

Sorry, but I don't think i saw Sterling complete a pass tonight. He looks good as long as passing and shooting are not required. His job is basically to get fouled. His first touch is diabolical 50% of the time

If I can quote a bit of Don Mclean, this'll be remembered as the day football died.
Tell me about it - Ibrahimovic looks set to miss out on yet another tournament, while that oiled rat from Madeira is going to have the commentators drooling over his not passing to his teammates ahead of yet another early elimination.

...that is what you're talking about, right?

I think people tend to project stuff on players. He never looked tired from what I'd seen of him this season. He'd have had every right to be tired but I think he's been typically very busy across the pitch and people have said he's tired because he hasn't scored. He did look tired towards the end of last season though and I wouldn't be surprised if he starts feeling it again before the end of the season if we don't give him a rest at somepoint.

Well hopefully he's found the past few weeks restful. Barely half an hour of action amongst a group of players who move the ball slower than a tectonic plate drifts.
