I agree. Once upon a time I was very proud of our lads at Spurs representing our country. Today........?
To be honest a lot of fans seem to treat having internationals in their team more as a way to play Top Trumps than anything else.

Case in point, my brother in law tried to make something out of how there were several Arsenal players in the England team for the last World Cup but not a single Spurs player. My response was to point out that England were officially the worst-performing European nation of the whole tournament, so maybe it wouldn't be a good idea to bring up how many Arsenal players were responsible for this...
