Gonna have a tough job on his hands, but if he copes well.... I would be 100% sold. Hes looked the part in denmark but against some fantastic top 5 league starting players will be a great challenge.
Yeah I just said on the transfer thread he’s up against a talented French team and midfield. But I love agoume so this battle will be crazy good.
19 years old nartey has looked great so far

Same as for Bischoff, thats a tough right hand side to excel against. I'm excited.

He’s stood with osula in the line ups, I’m out, mixing with mags isn’t allowed

15 (14) minute round up for me

- Nartey positional is nice. He’s liking receiving the ball deep under pressure. Got caught in possession once when trying to sprint through but took a lovely touch under pressure on the edge of the box to get Denmark out. All passes so far have been safe but he’s keeping it ticking from deep. My lord, he’s just smashed the bar as I’m typing this what a strike. He’s not afraid to get involved defensively too, chasing back a counter attack from a corner missed the first tackle but recovered and won the ball

- Bischoff only had a few touches but his first touch is nice and is disciplined defensively so far against this France side. Disappointed they went to counter attack one point and he seemed to slow down and keep the ball, but that may just be a tactical decision from Denmark. he’s just scored as I type this, great anticipation and finish from him there, got in the danger area and pinched the lose ball. I’m impressed with how quickly he reacted to that loose pass

- Merlin really reminds me of a French cirkin with his ball delivery, his attempted passes even those that fail show a good game intelligence, defensively not been tested yet but does get high so may be an issue.

- Frances midfield is lovely and I’d take any one of them.

Yeah agreed so far, Nartey not massive but think he puts himself about enough that it's not an issue.

Merlin continues to make me think it would be a bizarre fit for us as he's clearly more comfortable in a side with possession and is only thinking about going forward. Seems tidy enough at this level though and perhaps they think he would cope in a counter attacking side too (obviously he can drive forward but can he sit in a low block).

Looking at the shape Denmark are sat in it does seem very very obvious how Bischoff could fit us.

Yeah that’s what im pointing at with Merlin, he’s caught high a lot but Denmark aren’t in a position to punish it. That wouldn’t work for us.

Interesting comment from the commentators

Denmark have supposedly had less possession in every game so far and are ‘happy to do so’

can see why we’re watching their players
