Sunderland 0 Celtic 5.
Game over before the season started. Lad was shot to pieces.
I remember a boro fan I used to work with saying that Steele had massive confidence issues, he'd been highly rated as a youngster but it had fallen apart. Once he made a mistake he went to pieces. I think he came in on a low ebb and things went worse, like you say about that Celtic match and he never recovered.

Why pick players who we all know have no chance of making the squad, put some of the U21s in. What better way to give them a taste of what’s to come if they stick in
I think it's as Brainy Dose says, some will be there as part of the coaching set up. Tuchel wants people who are good in the dressing room, so some won't go as players but be part of a wider coaching squad.

Hard for us to credit it, but he's done well for Brighton. Not that he'll go to the world cup, Pickford, Ramsdale and Trafford most likely.
He hardly plays now mind. A deeply weird selection. As weird as the eternal omission of Tyrick Mitchell.

Steele is a penalty trainer option for me, allows pickford and others to just avoid that training element from Tuchel.

Glad for garner and at least Rigg is ok for u19 despite lack of minutes.

Mind boggling! He hardly ever plays for Brighton.
Maybe they need someone who is good at sitting on his arse and waiting.

I don't think he's going to be picked to play, as above, I think hes being looked at to be part of the coaching set up. A direct quote from Tuchel gives the hint that he's been selected "with the prospect of him joining the World Cup squad as a training goalkeeper during the summer".

Never really had Cirkin playing for Latvia on my bingo card!
Probably because he's not going to be picked by England. If he'd played in the U21s last year instead of withdrawing due to injury he'd probably think he's in the frame. But now he's too old for the U21s and there's others ahead of him now. It's more a surprise that he didn't declare for Ireland as he was born in Dublin. That said it's a training camp so until he makes his debut in a full competitive match he can switch back. Very odd, though, came out of nowhere and for a very weak international team.

this IB doesnt bother as much as others do

Watch either the Wales or Northern Ireland game Thursday ,
Have the england game on but not really pay attention

but those not selected will have 15/16 days to rest, recharge and comeback ready and raring to go,

think after this break,

Roefs, Ballard, Nordi, Rei all back

all starting
