Kane is a hell of a man.
You are not aloneSo another break when the season’s barely started.
Am I alone in feeling intense disappointment when the PL fixtures end on Sunday evening and we have the best part of 2 weeks to wait for another game?
And I am alone in caring little about how England will scrape past inferior opponents unconvincingly in the intervening period?

They have been **** though, to be fair. Very fortunate results given the performances.
Tough run of games coming up, too.

Next year has no October break, but an extended September one, instead:Gives them time to regroup.
And for Utd to implode.
A break would certainly seem to be of greater benefit to them to try to end their recent cycle of defeats.
I can’t think of a solution to the scheduling problems (ditto cricket, which has similar issues), but surely there must be some better way?
And if 48 teams qualify, a lot of the jeopardy is removed from qualification, so are all these games necessary and desirable?

Yeah, about that: last week FIFA meekly mentioned that a few matches will air in Europe post-midnight, having neglected to mention this minor detail in the years priorI’m with you there.
Especially as Spurs aren’t losing most games atm and Tuchel just doesn’t suit being England manager imo.
I’ll enjoy the World Cup but all the qualifying and nations league feels a chore to watch.

Add to that him wanting to stay in the UK for a year to qualify for a passport, meaning it's highly unlikely we'll be able to banish him to The Oilfields come JanuaryHearing that Bissouma got injured (again) playing for Mali yesterday...
FFS! Gets sidelined for repeated lateness, picks up an injury training before he gets back in the squad and now is injured playing in an international game.
Getting him off the books is going to be a challenge, isn't it!
