Hearing that Bissouma got injured (again) playing for Mali yesterday...<doh>

FFS! Gets sidelined for repeated lateness, picks up an injury training before he gets back in the squad and now is injured playing in an international game.

Getting him off the books is going to be a challenge, isn't it!
He was on the pitch for about 15 seconds and got wiped out, apparently. Typical.

Comfortable win for England and another really good performance from Djed. He looks well at home at that level, a natural 'baller! <applause>

Hes just phenomenal. How he’s never been in proper contention for winning the Balon d’or is beyond me.

Someone somewhere at some point decided that it would be inappropriate to award the trophy to a player who hadn't won major trophies that season in addition to displaying individual brilliance, which is absurd as it's the same dozen teams who win all the trophies every year, so a player could be a combination of prime Maldini, Charlton and Pele and never win the thing if they decided that club loyalty was more important to them than chasing medals, which more or less sums up Kane's career until very recently.

Balon D’or has become a bit of a farce.

Best player in the world yet Rodri and Ousmane Dembele are the last two winners when they’re not even the best players in their club sides

<applause> to England for qualifying such that they
give Tuchel two "dead rubber" games with which to
try and test squad prospects not in the strongest
starting XI.

Spence makes the England squad again, which still contains Jordan Henderson, for some reason.

Jude Bellingham, Phil Foden and Harry Kane cannot start together in England's current system, says boss Thomas Tuchel:

Favouring a 4-3-3 when England have about a million players who want to play the 10 is stupid.
4-2-3-1 and dropping Jordan Henderson from the middle is the only sensible solution.
Also, pick some actual ****ing left-backs.

Can we just keep a few of the 10s at Hotspur Way?
