Seeing both Jack Grealish and Declan Rice score against Ireland in the same game, I can't help but think back to that one absolute knobhead of a Dublin barman who acted like I farted on the Pope when I said a few home truths about Roy Keane and hope that he is especially pissed off this morning...

On the bright side Croydon, you said that in Dublin. Say the same in Cork City and you'd probably just be being released from Intensive Care! <laugh>

Watkins withdrew, Toney hasn't played this season. I think that Carsley would be happy to play Gordon through the middle and as he bought Bowen for Kane I guess he sees him as an option too. (which is fair enough as he was playing down the middle for West Ham last season)
Solanke was injured. Fit, he would have been considered.

That music's certainly... a choice.
Sweden won 3-0 and Kulusevski playing behind Isak and Gyokeres in a 3-4-1-2, for those that aren't following random internationals.
Seems like he's no longer playing as a winger for club nor country.

Playing more centrally means that he's got more space and options and is less predictable and harder to defend against.

However, only using his left side is still limiting. Yes, he's got a wand of a left foot, but his right isn;t terrible, at all, and if he just used it a bit more, enough so that defenders didn;t know for certain which one he was going to use, he'd be close to unplayable.

Wouldn't be surprised to see him go on and break Shilton's record for most capped player.

Two and a bit more years at his current rate of appearances should do it.
