I wonder if Southgate should get on the phone this morning and suggest that Maguire and Gomez have a couple of weeks off because they are probably both shell shocked and certainly are not in any sort of form to be playing for their country.

Sterling has withdrawn from the squad with an injury, as will lots of other players who can't be arsed to turn up.
Reece James replaces him, which is a bit odd as he's a fullback.
 
GLC has pulled out of international duty, Jose doing a Jose I hope and not a serious injury or existing groin problem getting worse
 
He looked like he was playing through something on Thursday and didn’t appear on Sunday so it’s not the biggest surprise. Hopefully 2 weeks off will get him right.

He got injured in the first half against Maccabi and was subbed at the break.

None of England's first XI should be involved in the friendly at all.
He's got 30 players. Use the other 19 and find a Plan B.

Calvert-Lewin and Ings should both get to start a match in this break and Kane can start the Belgium game in the middle. Other in form players like Grealish should start a couple of matches and Declan Rice all 3!
