in my defence I did mention not so long ago that Winks had gone up in my estimations. Start of the season (and last season) I thought he was terrible and offered nothing. End of this season I can definitely see a place for him in the squad. I think he’s perfect to bring on should Spurs be looking to hold onto a narrow lead as he retains the ball better than our current midfielders and can slow a game down to frustrate opposition. Though I don’t think he’s ideal for if Spurs are looking to grab the first goal or chasing a game. Whilst in terms of the DM role that HBIC mentioned, he’s not defensively sound enough to adequately protect the back four like an on form Dier is.
I liked "the junk"stories. We moved from a 5,000 sq ft house on a golf course to a 2,500 sq ft house in town. The removers were a bit rough, hence their name,Wildcats Removers! Anyway,it was murder. We sold our house in 24 hours!...and we had to rush to find a house, which we did. The "new" house ended up full of stuff, the garage was full of stuff and a mate put up a big tent in the back garden....and that was full of stuff! They will have to bury us in the back garden,'cos I ain't moving no more!!!!!
Proves Levy was right all along, 'Messi, Augero? I'd have em both on a Free, providing neither wants no more than a bag of cheesy Wotsits each week as a salary'.
Notice Messi's little lash out towards the end? You always know when a striker's been pocketted if they lash out on a defender. No other Spurs player right now excites me in terms of potential than he does. He can become one of the very, very best on the planet in his position.
Wan-Bissaka’s had a mare today. Shaky at the back and now concedes a last minute OG for a French winner. His valuation may have just dropped by £5m.
Strong memories of the Euro's in 2004, as France score 2 late goals to come back and win. Wan Bissaka with the winner for France, who were much the better team.
