Insomniacs??

I know, which is why I stated some people do have medical issues that stop them from sleeping.

Shutting your brain down - Try mindfulness meditation or watching ASMR videos. These videos are excellent because they are relaxing and concentrate your mind on something which stops the endless spree of thoughts.

You cannot control your thoughts, but you can control your activate analysing of them.

Shrinks have had me try all sorts mate, meditation, acupuncture, strict routine, medication(only heavy sedatives work but don't want that sort of life), physical activity, yoga, reading. Nowt works. I function ok though, problem is for me is that days are too short. I seem to require about 4 hours for every 48-72 hour periods.

I often felt like when I was working in hospitality I was gettin 3/4 hours kip between shifts - yet I was functioning better than when I have 8-10 hours nowadays. Suppose it may be a case of mental arousal levels or something.

Split shifts are evil/

I used to do splits followed by 8-23 sometimes 6 days a week.

All while getting paid a salary which worked out less than minimum wage.

The strange thing was that I actually enjoyed it and got a kick out of it sometimes. I sacked it off about 6 months ago for something different hoping for a better quality of life which worked because I actually have a life nowadays.

I ran the kitchen and cellar at a busy pub for a while. Often my ****s were split three ways, never again, never again.

I exercise and sleep. Proven <cheers>

You don't look like you exercise, JD (is JD for Jiant Daystacks, or is your avatar misleading (mine is) ?) :emoticon-0145-shake

Anyway . . . . shagging is a type of exercise, depending on certain aspects, of course, and it definitely works :emoticon-0100-smile

I even suggested this to Mrs. A. on Tuesday . . . . for medicinal purposes, because she couldn't sleep :emoticon-0105-wink:

She didn't actually say '**** off' but that's what she mean't :emoticon-0101-sadsm
