Keep the f@/-:;g noise down! Some of us are trying to sleep!!!!!!!!L
9/10 if someone can't sleep it's because the don't exercise enough. Do a workout and you'll get decent sleep.
Scientifically proven? Or just an assumption?

I exercise and sleep. Proven![]()

It is proven, I am not going to give you links to studies because it should be ****ing common sense. If you wear your body out and expend more energy your body will require more rest and you will feel more tired towards the days end. Tired people sleep better.
Anecdotely, my sleep improved dramatically when I started doing cardio. Coincidence?
The 9/10 part was not backed up by any study, but it's probably not far off. Too many doctors prescribe pills too soon to deal with far too many issues that could be dealt with by lifestyle changes.
Sleep that is achieved through alcohol or knocking yourself out with pills is not optimal.
Exercise is also an antidepressant, so if you're suffering from depression, anxiety or stress, exercise can help with that if that's what's keeping you up at night.
Also stay away from caffeine. I personally have also seen improvement in sleep and mood since giving up caffeine drinks after midday.
You shouldn't need caffeine to keep you going, good sleep and healthy food should do this.
I happen to agree with what pretty much all you're saying although I don't think it's as clear cut as 'if you struggle to sleep do some exercise' (I was just being pedantic with the 9/10 assumption).
I'd guess that (being no expert on insomnia) that there are many other factors that contribute to it apart from a lack of exercise & caffeine intake.
Everyday routines, jobs, stress, families etc as well as mental health issues.
Out of interest did you study the Sport Science or is all what you wrote all just '****ing common sense' as well? There's an exercise thread about somewhere - take a look you might be interested in it![]()
