Already my excitement for next season has diminished due to who may actually be fit to play more than a couple of games. How many minutes will we see Poku, Burrell, Dembele and Chair play before a "Hamo" is mentioned?
is that it for these players, or can the medics sort out these injuries so there is no re-occurance?
Also i can never remember historically losing so many players to mid term and re-occuring injurues in one season, or did i just not notice,as they were bang average?
Is anyone to blame, Jude the cat, the pitch, medical team, the player or are we just very unlucky?

Well you can leave out Jude, but add in the training ground pitches, faster game, too many competitive games, bringing back injured players too early as other possibles. They do need to find out what the problems are though so they can fix them, if possible.

Sparky the tiger is not always available either

Is our injury record actually any worse than other clubs?

I suspect it is but it’s more the players out this season than the volume of injuries.

Not the most scientific but it’s the best stat I can find but Dunne is 38th in the league for minutes played, Kone 54th.
Mbengue- 86
Madsen -103
RND- 105
Varane- 184
Cook - 203
Vale - 217
Burrell- 237
Walsh - 238

Obviously there are reasons beyond injury for players not getting minutes but one player in the top 50, 3 in the top 100 and 6 in the top 200 in a 24 team league suggests we’re at least worse than average.

I, not long ago, made this thread, about how I reckon it's our training ground that's to blame:
