Am I the only one able to see the word “inexplicable” in the thread heading?!!
Use of the word inexplicable is causing me challenges! I suppose this is the equivalent of the old Amber Nectar "You shouldn't but you would" thread.

20 years ago defo - now wayyy past her best. Fallen victim to the plastic surgery curse like many fine women before her....
At least if she falls over she won't hurt her nose!
Neither were, or are classic beauties but - I saw Elkie Brooks in her Vinegar Joe days, she'd been poured into a pair of bell-bottom trousers and a tight top, she then oozed lady pheromones all over the stage for the next ninety minutes, she was awesome! Zoe Wanamaker, the voice, the sparkly eyes ..... yes I would, I might even climb over a young Elkie to get to her too

Good call on Zoe Wanamaker, no oil painting but something about her.
i like the brainy ones, including bettany hughes. alice roberts, rachel riley, etc.
dislike the mad feminists: emma watson for a kick off. she was almost okay in the flims but since she started inventing her own words i realise she's a brain-dead indoctrinated ****wit.
