Wycombe Wanderers are expected to sign Danish defender Anders Hagelskjær from Norwegian side Molde this transfer window.
Reports in Norway have suggested that a deal between the two parties has been agreed and that the Chairboys will pay €500,000 for his services.
The centre back, once his move to England has been confirmed, will replace Caleb Taylor who was recalled by West Bromwich Albion earlier this month.
According to the Danish media outlet,
Tipsbladet, Hagelskjær is set for a medial with Wanderers and once a ‘residence permit’ has been authorised, the sale is expected to go through.
Cypriot team Pafos were interested in Hagelskjær, but pulled out of any deal due to Molde’s transfer demands.
If this deal goes over the line, he will be Wycombe’s fourth signing of the January Transfer Window, following the arrivals of defender Sonny Bradley, left-winger Ryan Cole and goalkeeper Jonny Pettitt respectively.
The latter two will play for the development squad.
