Really? Not really sure what Lovenkrands offers on the left wing, or has done at any point in his NUFC career. Only time he's ever been any use for us is as a striker in the Championship.

He was decent against Chelsea when on the left wing. Although saying that, it was probably only because of the contrast with Obertan that he looked so good <laugh>

Actually a fair point. He had a decent game going forward that match. However, he spent most of the game drifting about and not doing anything backover...resulting in Sturridge getting about 5 chances in the first half alone.

Yeah that's the problem, he doesn't track back at all. I think he'd look better on the left wing now with Santon behind. Against Chelsea he at least threatened Ivanovic to some extent and put in a couple of decent balls.

On the subject of wingers, i can't wait until Marveuax's back! It'll be nice to have a winger who can cross again, not sure which side he'll be played on though (if at all)

I'd like the kid fit simply because having another winger in the squad seems to get 25% more out of Jonas!

That too! Although Jonas was a lot better against Blackburn (by the sounds of it anyway) so hopefully having Santon is making him that bit better as well.

    Soderburg
    Tavernier Kadar Streete Ferguson
    Abeid Morrison
    Vuckic -------------- Ameobi
    JJ Hooper Airey

Not bad for a youngster team.

He may be young but I'd rather have Adam Campbell than Airey in all honesty. Or move Vuckic into the middle, Sammy to the right and stick Moyo on the left, like so:
    Ameobi Vuckic Moyo
    Hooper

You're probably right, but I'm not sure on some of their exact positions so just put in who I knew played where.

Aye, we seem to be blessed with keepers.

Aye, I think most of them are quite flexible and haven't really settled on one position yet. Although I'm pretty certain Morrison is a more attacking player and so is unlikely to play in a holding role with Abeid. <ok>
