Some brilliant results today, not good for us but it looks like we're in for an interesting end to the season
Well after todays results its all so close again, Arsenal Monday anything from that game will be a bonus but like Kevin Keegan once said " I would love to beat them I really would", I know it was about Manchester utd but that's how I feel about them we owe them a result great team when they have a near fully fit squad available but with great support who knows?. Burnley yes we all know its massive yes the players have to be up for it and so do us the crowd, its one of the those big games which everybody as to be as one, its a really fascinating end to the season to close to call all I can say is enjoy, support, believe and back the lads in the best way you can and if it means getting the clappers out then get them out for the lads ( or the kids) otherwise in both games get there and right from the off do your bit, encourage others and will the team on for the points which will keep us up, come on city lets enjoy this fight.
Absolutley crazy results today Despite back to back wins for you lot and looking like you had built a decent cusion your back in deep trouble. Having seen Newcastle today and John Carver accusing his own players of deliberately getting sent off I think they are in deep trouble. We play Sunderland in 2 weeks and I think if we beat them they will go down though.
I think Newcastle and Sunderland are in the biggest trouble We have won 5 out of 6 and have easier fixtures so you would fancy us to stay up Villa have a bit of form and Benteke scoring goals so you would think they will be fine You lot have back to back wins behind you put I think you season could rest of that Burnley game and you need to make sure if we do lose the 3 other games they don't hammer you as goal difference could be massive Newcastle are a complete shambles and Sunderland have difficult fixtures and aren't much better then Newcastle
Massive game for you equal to our game with Burnley for us. Sunderland have Everton away next week then you after that then they finish with Arsenal and Chelsea so depending on how they do against Everton you could really put the pressure on them
QPR on the final day means it may not be make or break for us as QPR will be relegated by then. We can't afford to lose to Sunderland while they have to beat us, no 2 ways about that
Got a feeling it'll come down to goal difference for who stays up, it's that close. If the arse don't put 7 past us and we can squeeze a draw I'll be semi happy. In fact I'd take 4 no score draws right now. Still think we deserve some luck at spurs...got **** all out of them 4 times last season.
I agree, with your run in you have a couple of chances to win a game were as Sunderland must target certain games which they have to win how ever the way this season is ending who knows who will beat who. For me the Burnley game is massive on our day we are capable of beating the others but Burnley is a pressure game which if I am honest is one we have got to go out and win, Arsenal on Monday I don't really expect us to but would really love to its a team I don't like I think its because my mate who is a big rugby fan supports them Its getting very intrusting and I have got to admit despite what some on here think watching other results and willing other teams on is something I am doing at the moment
A draw against Arsenal would be a fantastic result for you. Every single point is going to make a difference now.
Yes I agree a point would be gratefully accepted I'm sure a few on here will moan if we don't take all 3 though es
If we can beat Burnley I think that's enough unless we loose our GD advantage, Sunderland have to beat Lesta to be in with a shout and if they did I think Newcastle could well slip into third relagation spot
I think we can get a point on Monday and then hopefully we can pick up 3 points against Burnley to put this worry to bed. But it really is a mad end to the season where a team could go down with 36 points.
