You might want to get the docs to look at that limp while you're there Seriously all the best, glad you're on the mend. Have been following the story and it is a great example of a community pulling together. I was surprised at how affecting it was, given few of us actually know you.
Hi Steve, This is great news. Can you let Ash know he has no obligation to report to us with updates. He needs to be selfish now, and look after himself to get well. When he feels better, I cant wait to here from him, but would rather he take account of other things more important than us!! Thanks for being a good friend to him. Keep strong and respect
guys, after being amazed by the response of you lot on here, i am obligated to update you. asj doesnt know how many updates i put up, but i wish to share the news as much as possible. steve
Can I echo Swim's sentiments. No need to give us updates Ash, concentrate all of your energy and focus into recovering and returning to full health. Glad to hear that you are on the mend with each passing day. Look forward to read your comments on here mate when you return. Take Care Ash. P.S. Thank you Steve for providing us all on here with updates on Ashley throughout the week
Ash, I'll try and keep Dilli in check tomorrow. Otherwise he will have blurred vision watching the game. AGAIN!!!!
Thanks Steve, A glass will be raised in his honour at tomorrows game. Dilli will raise more than one for him though, the man's a animal!!!
Thanks for taking the time to do this when there must so much else going on and so many other people in his life. Really appreciated. And of course, many of us are delighted that he seems to be making progress. He'll need time.
Ash, Come back please and soon. They all think I'm a Pisshead and I need you to put them right for me Steve, keep the updates coming please and give that silly sod all our best
Moved me to tears. Get better soon mate. Take good care of yourself. Things can ONLY go one way now and thats up mate. Remember that. What the fcuk does footy matter really ay? Eye opener. P.S I had to do a little lol at "LIMP in my throat".
Good man! No need to apologise to us fella. Glad you are on the mend. As the Leeds lad said, we've all done daft stuff, you are only human. I've had someone close take their own life and all it leaves behind is devestation. Sounds to me like you have some great friends, that lad Steve for one and a missus who loves you. Take this as a second chance mate, all the best!
Welcome back Ash, Great to see you posting again, here's hoping we see you posting on the Cardiff board soon. As others have said get yourself 100% and you had no need to apologize to anyone. All the best fella
All the best Chico, As many have stated although i have never met or spoke with you direct i'm truly glad to hear you are on the mend. Support comes in many forms, just remember we all need help sometimes, it makes us no less of a person. Take care of yourself bud
I've been following this all very closely and I'm ecstatic that it's ended up like this. Its very clear you have a lot of friends on here Ash, and if ever you just need a smile, then read through some of these pages again and I'm sure you'll catch yourself with a cheeky grin. Don't rush things and don't expect too much of yourself too soon, take your time with everything you do and the most important piece of advice that I was told was: "Sit outside for 10 minutes a day in a nice area and remind yourself what else is out there." Much Love.
Ash! This is excellent news and you don't need to apologise......except for what you've put me through the last few days. I never cried so much in a long time and didn't think I could get so wound up for someone I hsve never even met!!! just as well we are not likely to for a bit or I'd kick your arse for you. As all have said on here, the recent response must tell you something of how much you are valued and needed around the place. You've got a gem in your missus and Steve and, no doubt, others in the close family. And then you've got us lot on here. Keep the grip and take your time soritn your life out...and then get on here. All the best, Winsor.
