Re. Fox, am I not right in saying he is the best deliverer of a set piece ball we have in the squad? We have squandered SO many set pieces. A guy who puts good balls into the right areas, and already knows well from the past two seasons how Holty and Morison think, is surely worth a start or two, or if not a start, at least a place on the bench to be brought on if the game needs him.
err, i think you misunderstand ILD. what i'm saying is that if i was offered 17th and the season end today, or carry on the season and aim higher, i'd end the season now. its not a lack of ambition - its knowing what's important. of course i want us to finish as high as possible but 17th is good enough. it'd feel like winning the league.
also, my question re: 'would you have lambert back now' was to determine whether or not people have got over him yet. i got the distinct feeling there was a bit of a lambert 'hangover' still lingering till as recently as this weekend. maybe its finally cleared and the whole fan base is as one behind hughton, who i believe is a very capable manager who gives us an excellent chance of survival and progression.
Lambert back, no, it never works second time around in the main. it was good while it lasted, why spoil it. Anyone else noticed that he is looking a lot greyer this season??
i'm guessing both jimmy savile and gary glitter touched his life in some way... only a total moron would have them as their avatar. if you want to provoke a reaction do so using debate.
It's a pointless statement, (excuse the pun), no one is going to give anyone 17th place, or any other place for that matter, we have to earn whatever we get, lets aim a bit higher I believe we're good enough or soon will be.
Who are Sheffield Wednesday, well they are the team that were bottom of the division and the mighty Leeds still couldn't beat them. Now go away and try to piss in your own ear, it might neutralise some of the **** in your head and add to your intelligence!
it might be pointless in reality but its a very common saying! priority this season is to stay up, nothing more, nothing less.
