We're very easy on the eye, aren't we?
Not too much cynical stuff, either.

Some of our players end up miles away from where you'd expect them to be.
Kaboul playing as a left-winger and Walker's run and shot from the left wing spring to mind, from tonight's game.
 
at times watching Spurs play when they attack is like it used to be back in the school yard...everyone and the kitchen sink joins in <laugh>
 
How good was Livermore???? The lad had some game, as we never missed Parker or Sandro. Think he is going to be a top player for us for some time hopefully.

i could tell the way Ade tried to serve the ball on a plate for him instead of having a shot himself..that he had been teaching him all week how to celebrate a goal against your former team<laugh>
 
Livermore's basically our fourth choice in that role, too.
With Parker, Sandro and Huddlestone all missing, he really did a job there tonight, though.
Not up against slouches, either.
Fellaini's a nightmare, at times.
Decent on the ball and very physical, too.

He's showing great versatility as well: DM, CB, RB.......
But as a DM, he has got a great couple of teammates to learn his trade from!!

Massively important.
Ferguson always has players like that, who can do a good job in various roles and don't moan when they're left out.
Phil Neville made a career of it.
 
I thought we were great tonight. Controlled most of the game and I never felt worried when Everton came forward. The last two games were a little scrappy by our usual standards, but as they say, the sign of a good team is still winning when you play badly, Man U were the kings of that. Its nice to see us playing with such confidence. and I am starting to really believe we can actually do it. It's the first time since I've supported Spurs (since I was 10, 1990) that I have seen us so sucessful. We always played exciting football, but were never as consistant. It's a lovely feeling. Long may it continue.

We must be any defenders nightmare,you just don't know who or where anyone is going to pop up.I was actually thinking Lennon wasn't on the field and then he pops up on the left wing.A bloody nightmare for some a bloody wet dream for us.
 
i honestly didnt expect Lennon to make of that BAE pass what he did..was surprised because it looked like it was going to be a tough night with getting a goal..plenty possesion as usual....and i expected him to lose the control when it hit his chest.

Yeah we don't play like spurs but we do pass the ball around pretty well.One game at home when we play M'Boro we made 25 passes that led to a goal(26th touch was goal) so pretty good really,they never mentioned it on TV though <doh>.We've had a bit of a blip atm hopefully we'll start beating teams every week from now on!Only problem is...we've got no Lambert:emoticon-0107-sweat
 
Injuries can often play a major part in any Championship season.
There's a lot of games and an unfortunately timed absence can be very telling, especially if your back-up isn't up to scratch.

I've always loved the way we play, even when we were struggling to rise above mid-table obscurity, during those wilderness years. But this team is, without a shadow of a doubt, the best Spurs team I have ever seen in all my 40-odd years of supporting them. We have pace, strength, guile, steel, grace, agility, technique, passion and, above all of these, belief. If the likes of Arsenal or 'Pool were playing the way we are, the pundits wouldn't even be questioning whether they could win the title.
