We also wouldn't hear the end of it, HIAG.
You wouldn't be able to see the pitch for the drool of frothing pundits.

Livermore's basically our fourth choice in that role, too.
With Parker, Sandro and Huddlestone all missing, he really did a job there tonight, though.
Not up against slouches, either.
Fellaini's a nightmare, at times.
Decent on the ball and very physical, too.

I'd say he's probably our 3rd choice. Were the Hudd a little more mobile (when fit) and imposing he'd be awesome. I really do think that he's going to have a hard time getting back into the matchday squad, let alone the starting XI

Not sure about that.
Redknapp likes him a lot, in my opinion.
The centre of the park is a very competitive place for us, though.
Might be best for Carroll to go out on loan as soon as possible.

I would say he was more cover for Modric, along with Niko. Different style, but his passing would get Bale and Lennon on the ball pretty sharpish.

That would make more sense to me. I'd only really want him covering the DMF role if we were playing a bunch of no-hopers so let's hope he is fit for the Goons game

I'll tell you what is a joy, seeing Daws play without lumping it diagonally to Crouch when all else fails...then watching all the others do the same.

i honestly didnt expect Lennon to make of that BAE pass what he did..was surprised because it looked like it was going to be a tough night with getting a goal..plenty possesion as usual....and i expected him to lose the control when it hit his chest.

Unfortunately, I think most of our home games are going to be like that now. Very few teams come to WHL to play - they come hoping to survive.
