A manager similar to him. Unknown in this country initially, but has a clear management style of high intensity football, gets the most out of players and develops individuals, and the team
Mate, Bielsa wasn't unknown in this country. He's a bit of a footballing legend... The likes of Pep Guardiola look up to him.

I get the idea though and I'm not against it <ok>

Was he unknown in this country? I know he's not managed here before but he's one of the most respected managers in world football. He mentored Guardiola

Largely unknown to most in this country but known worldwide. Picking a manager list of 10 people 2 or 3 years ago most fans in the UK wouldn't put him on it. The list here in all honesty the managers win percentages are poor so I'm hoping its someone not on our radar thats well respected in world football.

Apparently his interview said he set us up to counterattack. Against a side who hasn't won away for 20 years - he should go for that comment alone. And I am not one who advocated chopping and changing managers but enough is enough now

I'm not against the Cowleys or Johnson who did a good job with Bristol city. Both young enough to start a long term project with our new billionnaire owners.

I’d have loved Nigel Clough! Perfect fir the fans and the club. Plays good football and knows the game. Unfortunately we’re late to that party. Cook will probably be the way to go.
There’s a reason Clough has never managed higher than league 1. He was a disaster at Derby. I’d be very underwhelmed if he had come in.

we need someone who can grow through the leagues. Could Cook get us into the premier league?

I want a young up & coming manager a la Jack Ross, but, as JR showed he needs an experienced sidekick/dof to help.

Poch went to Southampton, Bielsa went to Leeds and Nuno Santo went to Wolves. All in the Championship. I just think we need somebody to get us out of this league first and foremost.

If it's a choice off that list I'd go for Pearson. He might be mad as a box of frogs but he has got a few promotions under him so he gets the nod. In pure fantasy realms, Ralf Rangnick of course.

Who would you like to see as our new manager?

If you can't think of anybody, what sort of manager would you like to see brought in? A manager who has worked in and knows this league? A foreign manager who could bring fresh ideas and a new identity to our play?

I've put up a list of managers out of work, who could be approachable with the new owners. I don't think Marco Silva would be out of the question, he's been out of work for a while now and although his last two jobs didn't go that well, I still feel he's a more than capable manager and it would definitely show ambition. Nigel Pearson has been discussed on here and seems to be a favourite for quite a few. Paul Cook knows this league inside out and done two smashing jobs at Portsmouth and Wigan. He'd be a decent shout.

Maybe I'm being too ambitious?[/
