Surely in a two horse race to lose is even worse so he can handle the pressure for sure.
Rangers had won the title 9 years in a row prior to MoN joining Celtic. They only won it twice more in his 5 years at Celtic.
At Villa he led them to a cup final and 3 consecutive top 6 places. The season after he left they were nearly relegated.
He is a game changing and club changing manager but he has 80 years of failure to overcome here unlike at Celtic so it wont happen overnight and people like you would dispense with him and that track record after a mere 15 months, to replace him with who exactly?
