Being the romantic type I recently hired the series "When the Boat Comes In" from the local library and watched the whole lot in just over a week. Thoroughly enjoyed it and saw it as a pretty acccurate reflection of the times in which it was set.
In favour of the modern day, can I just mention dental anaesthetic, internet porn, colour telly, cheap air travel, curry houses, to name but a few. Nostalgia for outside bogs is beyond me.
I remember a time when there was plenty of room to play football in the street without a car in sight..
My thinking is. If he gets to say something vile about women (the fairer sex), who I hold in a lot higher esteem than him, then I get to say something vile about him (idiot without sex).
Now DISCO,,,,,Ask yourself what tash would know about women anyway." All mooth and nee troosers" as the neverwasbeens would say.
