An investigation is underway after "suspected human remains" were found near a beach in Sunderland.

Northumbria Police confirmed that officers were called to Marine Walk, near Roker. Beach, shortly after 10am on Tuesday 13th February.

Maybe partial closure coming for those of us with loved ones missing in the river.

No. It’s fine.There’ll be people not know remains have been found (whoever they are) so spreading it isn’t an issue. It’s been widely reported for days.

 

My missus has a friend who’s in this exact same situation.
