there are people who go because they love the club and its history. if it's just a game of football to you, save some money and something cheaper. who are you to tell people where they should have their emotional ties? you're just a bystander and as such your opinion is worthless.

Why is his opinion worthless and yours is not…whats the difference?

I enjoy the sport and love watching my local team in the highest and best league in the world ..
what I don't get is the people who "I guess" work and spend 24 hours obsessed over Hull City AFC ... when they go see the same players in their local town play the same game .. as great people have said ... "football is simple" .. and tbh a football club is simple ... you go to the church every weekend and enjoy yourself .. name = 0
it's not 24 hours of work. i'm talking about people who are pleased to win and disappointed to lose, who are delighted with promotions and gutted with relegations. i'm talking about people who wish they'd seen wagstaff and chilton or carter and burbanks, or who maybe did, not people who think history is bunk and only the present matters. i'm talking about people who reminisce with their mates about games from 2 or 5 or 25 years ago, when we were good or bad or neither and something good or bad or neither happened, but it was worth remembering and talking about, not instantly forgettable because it was like an evening at the theatre or the library or mcdonalds. sadly it looks like i'm not talking about people like you, because you don't seem to understand. you're a customer, not a fan. you mention church. i don't believe in that stuff. football is my religion. no, hull city is my religion and the devil is creating a schism. but he will lose. and so will all those that have made a pact with him.
CTWD again showing their colours, thanks for the support though mate
Do you think that just because people don't mind a name change they don't love what we've done/achieved in the past.
If we get called hull cod heads tomorrow people will still remember the past.

all I see is you talking about 1 or 2 of 11 players on a pitch ... so what is it you really crave ??

I wasn't there tonight.
But my feeling as a city fan is that it isn't against the name. It's against the protest against the name change. It's a different thing all together.
Like ctwd say, it's not a protest against the owner just the name change.
Tonight was against the protest not the name.
Does that make sense?

i'm talking about INVOLVEMENT and EMOTION and HISTORY.
what are you talking about?
what do i want? i want the name to stay the same.
why would anyone change a club's name when they've played in an fa cup final in front of one of the biggest annual crowds for any game? why throw that exposure away? why not exploit it? can there be better advertising?
