I remember only too well the big noise the Hull supporters made when they last came up ........ and the massive silence when they were relegated. They've learned nothing have they?
I guess we're expecting to stay up... there are 3 worse teams than us out there... your team are in disarray, Cardiff are rudderless although with our senile owner wanting to rename us as Hull Tigers, it could be Hull, Cardiff and you that are going down. Normally the bottom team at christmas are heading down.
Huddleston and £3 m I would say would be a fair exchange. And Hull are one of the 5 or so teams who think they are safe, they were in the top 5 if I remember about 3 seasons ago at one stage. We a bottom now but could be mid table at the end of Jan. If Cardiff don't spend it's curtains for them, and I would start a 4-4-2 formation tomorrow and get at them from the start. WHU threw that match way yesterday. Soton upwards look safe. Stoke, WBA, Swansea (dodgy at home) Cardiff, Fulham all about the same.
No we're not, where have you been? We've had five clean sheets in the last eight league games and only lost three in our last ten, we're ahead of you in the form table you blind nutter http://www.premierleague.com/en-gb/matchday/form-guide.html
We're hardly in disarray Patty. Just 3 losses in 10, 5 clean sheets in 8. Mid-table form-wise. That, from a manager who's only been here 9-10 weeks or so. He's stopped the rot and we'll start to climb the table in the next few weeks.
You know, when its put down in black and white this way, we really have turned a huge corner already. Those have to be as good as any mid table teams form in the last 10 games
Just shows Cest, Idiots like this Hull lad, see us at the bottom and assumes the worst all the while knowing **** all about us and what's actually happening. It is Mid table form. The form tables say so. we're looking half decent mate.
If you say so .......... we have an owner everyone likes and respects, a manager who's brought the whole team together and supporters who really believe. Hull have an owner you all hate, a manager who's likely to lose decent players in January and supporters protesting at every game. We have a much easier run-in than Hull and things could change dramatically, especially if we beat you at Sunderland. Pride really could come before your fall.
Very, very few hate the owner, it's just that one decision that's at issue. Most are grateful for what he's achieved so far. The 'protests' are a positive display of support for the team. Time will tell, but the speculation is that there's money available, but there are also players that need to be moved on as they won't get a game.
I wouldn't sell Fletcher unless it was for daft money which isn't going to happen. He's a class player, just needs to get back on track is all. I think he's roughly twice as good as Altidore who looks like a bit of a dud to be honest, I'm hoping he'll come good but he's so hesitant in front of goal it makes me think he doesn't know what he's doing.
