Don't start throwing out accusations of others being thick because things go over your head then. You have shown before you are a bit delicate when things are thrown back at you.
Just to be crystal clear, it didn't go over my head but do carry on having a pop at Hull if it makes your day complete.

I regularly eat out and try new places in Hull, so I'm more than happy to spend money here when it's a worth while experience. The shopping is embarrassing though. Took our lass to Leeds just before Christmas so she could pick her own presents and save us sending them back. The shops are just on a different level to Hull. If you want anything better than Topshop or the lower end range of Stone Island/CP Company type brands they sell in Flannels you're knackered.

I went to Meadowhall before Christmas and it was utter ****e. Nearly all the big stores are gone and the remaining shops are incredibly samey. It's just the way the high street is going I guess, but different places are getting there at different rates of decline.

I still enjoy going to Newcastle. Can't be many comparable cities that can sustain two major department stores these days.

Until very recently Leicester had John Lewis, Debenhams, and House of Fraser all in the same shopping centre, with a Fenwicks outside!

Only John Lewis remains now though.

They're really plumbing the depths now, page 34 (flashback section) of today's paper has a Retailers of Chanterlands Avenue feature. Some ugly mugs on there! :emoticon-0100-smile
Proper media star these days. Some Turkish bloke asked me if I'm interested in going on the radio version of The Voice last night. Said I've got the face for it so I'm looking for an agent, are you interested ?

Last week one of their article headers (paper edition, thus avoiding the moronic comments section) had our head coach down as Shote. :emoticon-0100-smile

A lot of fans had our previous one down as ****e..That's Shote with an I in the middle.

Reminds me of Bob Monkhouse's routine on his show. He used to have people throw news items from papers on the stage and make jokes from the content. One he picked up was about Nelson's Column and another was about Saddam Hussein. Monkhouse said "They have a lot in common. Nelson was an admiral with only one eye. Saddam Hussein is a Shi'ite with only one i."
