Good to see Campbell starting, not surprised to see McKenzie/Lichaj at centre back, though I would have prefered to see Ridgewell instead of Lichaj or McKenzie, an experienced centre back with either of them I feel would have been better. I'm a bit surprised that Evandro is dropped, but I guess Irvine does give us more energy in midfield.

I think there will be goals and we are likely to concede, just hope we can outscore them.

Given what is available and match fit i think that team is about as good as we can get tbh .. give Ridgewell a week training and he can slip in and do a job (hopefully). Didn't realise he is only 34 so still a couple of years left in them legs. Campbell's return was a must for me tbh .. just hope young McKenzie gets his barings early .. or it could get ugly. Hope for a win but would be happy with a draw with the defence we have out.

I agree with you on Evandro. I think this relates to Adkins like 6 big lads in the team and Stoke have some very big players in defence and up top so I can see the logic in there. Especially given our centre's back aren't exactly huge lads themselves.

I just hope young Mckenzie does'nt get too much of battering at this stage of his career.
