Obviously hoping for a win but would take a draw now. Any team having all their central defenders out would struggle. Fear losing a lot of height from the side will cost us at set pieces. Don't know what Nigel will have up his sleeve today (may be high heels for the lads). Come on city prove me wrong and some how get them points.

Conditions will be a factor today. It's who fancies it most. Freezing cold, snow on the ground and more forecast for the rest of the day.
It's never easy v Stoke.
With our injury problems I'd take a draw now.

Football always goes on about a cold and wet Tuesday night in Stoke.

We’ll outdo them with a freezing and snowy Saturday afternoon in Hull. Let’s see how they like it!

Were not playing at Stoke
Fear we may concede a couple, but fancy us to get three. Stoke have been dreadful away from home and although normally theres not many goals when we play Stoke, today will be different. 3-2 to City

Nige doesn't give info away about injuries. Expect to be surprised johnbo. :emoticon-0103-cool:

Seems like quite a big game today , can we bounce back from a loss
13th in the table but only 7 points from the play-offs shows how close it is

Trouble with that is that it's nice outside at the moment, otherwise I would have agreed. Stoke will have a bit too much for us today, hope 'Nige' doesn't risk players who are not 100 percent either. At least Tom Ince will help keep the boo boys and the gin soakers warm if he plays

Just OT but how many tickets do Newcastle get as an allocation for today?

As far as I know it is the regulation PL 3,000 or 10% whichever is the less. The way it is set up for segregation I don't think Wembley or the police want more.

Decent following for that distance in this weather for a televised lunch time kick off. They must have set off at some ungodly hour if coming by road.
