Would certainly expect Preston to have worked in training with the expectation that Eaves will start, Allahyar getting the nod may just throw that preparation in the mud given he’s an entirely different outlet. Plenty of games coming up for all 3 of the striker options to be utilised anyway.

It's 7 games in 22 days. Plenty of potential game time for all I reckon.

Gotta start with the Swansea 11 and make subs early. Then go with the best performers of the 14 to start at Derby.

Performance and introducing a couple of the new lads to the fray tomorrow could prove to be more important than the result.

It's just one of those I'm so convinced we 'should' win, I'm almost certain we're gonna lose.

Can definitely see why you’d say that, I’m really looking forward to the team being announced now. Personally think Eaves would be more suited to tomorrow whilst Allahyar against Davies and Stearman on Tuesday night could be a game changer if he’s as quick as they say. Wonder what type of striker Forss is. I mean he’s not come here to sit on the bench. Neither has Allahyar so Eavesy will really have to step up now as he’s been playing without competition the last 4 games.

Unlikely Stearman will be a problem.

Straight red and 3 match ban in midweek.

Good point, not sure who’ll they’ll have there then, we never tested Jagielka or Davies in behind in the 1-0 loss this season likewise in the Stoke game. Eaves is bread and butter to centre halves like them, KLP tore Gary Cahill a new one in behind against Bournemouth

Eaves scares the **** out of them.

If he doesn't know what he's gonna do until he does it, sure as sh*t the oppositions don't either.

He gets his goals and assists when he plays.

Even having a shocker he's worth a yellow card for one or two of their defenders

Underestimate Eeeeeaaaavvvvess!!!! at your peril.
