Got a few quid on under 1.5 goals
Late Hudds goal to seal it.
Luton are gone tonight result won't make much difference.
Looking at Stoke they definately don't want to be going into the last two games needing a result.

It will be a draw, just enough to keep our hopes up.

Well it's another big game, another chance and we keep saying it. Don't expect anything at Wigan mid week unless they lose a few players and have to play the tea ladies, even then they might cause us a few problems. Anyway back to tomorrow and it really is fight for future times, they are a decent side, Wallace a good player but it really is about us, we must defend better has a team and hope we take our chances in front of goal. We deserve a win having had so many weekends ruined lately. Even the Mrs is desperate for us to get 3 points said she's fed up of looking at my miserable Saturday night face.

We live in hope, but one look at the form table over the past 6 months and any sane person would conclude we are destined to finish rock bottom. There's absolutely no sensible reason to think otherwise. Even more so given McCanns naivety and stupidity to not even entertain the fact that he's got it wrong over and over again.
The hope i still cling to is that they at least fight like hell and Millwall, then Wigan, Luton, and Cardiff arent up for it. Seems unlikely though, at least in the cass of the 3 after Millwall.
Sorry, not meaning to be negative, just not being deluded about reality.

By 'We' do you mean the supporters of HCFC, or the team?

The supporters do deserve better. I agree.

But professional sportsmen don't 'deserve' wins. They have to 'man up' (c/o Grant McCann) and 'meet the challenge head on'

"We" means me, you and every other City fan who hopes each week for a win the people who follow the club for life, the players are paid to do it, then they move on it's their job. We can only watch and hope that they do something about it which they are not doing very well at the moment. Whilst they are here playing for this club we back them, once they go im not interested. The position they are in they should be running through brick walls not accepting the situation, I don't believe they lack effort, have they got any proper leaders ?is the manager out of his depth?are the players good enough?is it a combination of all ?. What ever it is its making me a right miserable ---- when the result comes in. It's frustrating when you can't do nothing about it but that's sport i suppose. And finally when you say "we" to me that is when you are talking about your club collectively, players, owners, supporters, everyone. The number of times in my life time I have heard proud supporters when we are doing well saying how good WE are yet through bad how crap THEY are. Anyway hoping for 3 points today, hoping

Scrap, battle, gouge, kick, snarl, bite, swear, grimace, scream.

    Thou shalt not pass.

    No man left behind.

    Stand as one.

    Fight.

Give your blood, your bile, your gore.

    Fight.

Walk across broken glass, play through pain, cover every blade of grass.

    Fight.

    No surrender.

Leave the pitch too tired to celebrate.

A quiet, ineluctable smile playing across your lips.

Fists tightly balled - a imperceptible shake of them as you walk down the tunnel.

    An anguished cry of 'YES!!!!'.

One nil City. That's all we need.

    YOU 'ULL!!!!!

This week I shall be mainly writing motivational speeches.

Which reminds me of a rather wonderful Spoonerism that a mate of mine once came out with.

"Don't like them lot Ernie", he said. "They're a bunch of sockcutters".
