100% agree

I still don't think we're far off being a top 6 pushing side. We've just got to defend a lot better. We've seen before the impact a player of the calibre of Elphick can have. That's the type we want, an older head, an organiser and a leader.

If we can add a mobile ball winning midfielder too, we'll be a completely different animal

Nobody in this league is ATM in theory, a run could take the bottom club to the playoffs in 6/7 games. But the reality is we are absolutely miles off any sort of consistency & form of a top 6 team and I honestly don't think we have the right personal for it either. The beauty of this season and the world cup break means a good jan window could really see us ( and any team ) build a play off run second half of the season.

Well I hope Rosie has some influence... I'd like to see him get this Bielek who played for Birmingham City. He's on loan from Derby County, only 24 but very much for me at least in the Berger (Sheff United) mould. 6 foot 2 and only 24... I admit I only saw him the once and last week against QPR on Sky, but he looks like a real player...

No other nationality does self deprecating sarcasm like us English, and proof that few understand it is above. :emoticon-0100-smile

The views expressed in my posts are not necessarily mine.

No I got it the first time it was said, it's the repetitiveness week after week from some that I didn't understand. Sarcasm is generally done to evoke humour.

Those who know, know. Going by previous I'm of the opinion you don't know. I've little interest in the four page tennis game, so that is all. :emoticon-0100-smile

He’s not the reason we’re in the bottom 3
Absolutely...

Wears his heart on his sleeve, runs for the full 90 and we could do with a few more with his battling spirit...He'd probably fit the captain mould at this moment in time and given where we're at in the table,we need the lad on the pitch more than we need big names on it!!!

He had a rant. But rather than face up to Baxter and call him out, he sort of shouted at the ground. Compare and contrast to say an Ashbee. There is no way on this earth that Greaves should be captaining a side, it's a joke. (I know he's VC, and 'only' captaining because Coyle is out of the starting 11). One more thing for Rosie to sort out.
Baxter shouted back at Greaves " **** off " No response from Greaves. I think Ash would have downed him.

Yet you're the one who felt the need to respond with a put down despite missing the point of the question. :)

Point proven then. Doc is a fantastic L1 player and a bottom end champ squad player. He's one of the most dedicated and naturally fit players I've ever seen, but he's reaching his ceiling imo. ( I'll be happy to see him prove me wrong )

I think he’s improved a lot this season but still has his limits. No point playing him on the right though.

Bielik is arguably the most gifted CDM in the league but he’s spent more time out injured than playing in his career. But we need a player like that in this squad.
