I’d go with

Greegsy

Elmo Chester Maguire Robertson

Snodgrass Hudd Jake Clucas

diame
Hernandez

theyre sarf landan ****s we’ll beat these.

god knows what Terry will do or who he will pick!!
Im struggling to remember who even plays for us, couple of ****s with pony tails i seem to remember? Theyve probably all got them now after lockdown. :emoticon-0147-emo:

Long
Lichaj? Burke de wijs elder
Stewart Kane?
Maddison. Irvine. Wilkes

Eaves

god knows it took me ages to get those players and two seconds to name the first team!!

we should still win tho
Nervy 2-1

What a team / players we used to have

IF that current team is up for it and can stay fit, it should be enough to stay up at least. I guess then next season, there'll be a fair few other clubs in near enough as much turmoil as us.

Long will obviously be in goal and you'd expect Lichaj, Burke de Wijs and Elder to make up the back four, the rest are not so easy to predict.

I'd have Stewart, Kane and Lopes in the middle (or Toral if he's feeling brave), the wide men could be any from Samuelsen, Maddison, Bowler or Wilks (I'm assuming Scott won't start yet) and Eaves will be up front.

As long as Kingsley, Honeyman and Irvine don't start, I'll be fairly happy.

Not sure if quill is ripping ya spes

Lyle Taylor hopes Charlton fans can find it in their hearts not to "hate" him, following his decision not to extend his contract and finish the 2019-20 season with The Addicks.

Lee Bowyer revealed earlier this week that his top scorer has decided to protect his career by deciding against extending his contract by a month when the season resumes.

He's finished at Charlton - apparently he has a 'dream move' lined up and will no longer play for them, in case of injury.

Yeah, I was having you on.

Of course Charlton fans will hate him, he's essentially refusing to play for them! Regardless of context, most club's fanbases will hate you for that.

I have a feeling we have a few 'Lyle Taylors' of our own, interesting to see how McCann handles this issue and the effect it has on the squad.
It is going to be an interesting week ahead, hopefully City may get a full practice match this week against PL opposition.

Hopefully with a better outcome than Charlton's warm-up game...

I think we should be OK, if we can keep the squad fit for remaining 9 matches and play with a solid defence we can hopefully grind out a few results.
We need to get the mentality sorted out and forget about our atrocious form behind us.

I think I know the team we’ll play.

That lad in goal,

A defence made up of 4 defenders, although GMc might throw a googly in there & put a midfielder in, just for fun.
Midfield picks itself really, all 4 of them with a midfielder in front, just behind the other midfielder up top, well at the half way line for most of the match.
On the bench, a goalkeeper & 6 strikers to throw on when we’re desperately trying to get into their half & claw back a 0-2 deficit.

We'll get nowt out of this.

If we don't implode like a super dense white dwarf undergoing severe gravitational collapse, it'll be a bonus.
Also allowed 5 subs should suit us with our squad. Getting a bit excited at the thought of Charlton, I think we could sneak a draw.
