A friend has just mailed me, he was on a plane to Barbados and Huddlestone was sitting near him. Thud was on crutches, my friend asked him if he had undergone an operation, Thud confirmed that he had, my friend said is that why you've been playing so badly. Apparently he wasn't amused.

It depends how major the surgery was (if true). The flight to Barbados is more than 6 hours, you have to change in Miami and it's knocking on 8 hours to get there.

First time that I have posted a thread and I get Bollox for a story that is perfectly true. My friend who mailed the story didn't say if he asked him what the op' was for, I have no idea why he didn't ask. He is also a season pass holder and sits next to me, he is not a liar neither am I and he is not prone to fantasy.

If you think about it, first time thread, story about a player, generally leads to some doubt about the info.

It is over eight hours, but you don't have to change anywhere.
