The echo is saying we were offered Huddestone and we knocked him back it , If this is true I think it is crazy. This guy Is only in his mid twenties and is an excellent passer of the ball, I know we have a few midfield players of our own but none that can pass a ball like this guy can. Would have loved him at our place, also states any interest we had in Guidetti ended when the Fletcher deal Was resolved, again personally I would have took him as well as Fletcher. Think we may have missed a trick here.

I'd deffo have backed a move for Huddlestone, he's a quality player, passing and shooting is excellent.

Be disappointed if we pull the plug on Guidietti, we blatantly need one more up top, but AJ is the one we're all waiting for.

I can see AJ assisting Fletch's debut goal already....

Completely disagree with you two and agree with Marty.
Even when fit he goes missing for 90% of a game.

He manages one flash shot once in a blue moon.

If we were talking about a choice of buying Gardner or Huddlestone.

I would pick Gardner every time, it makes it even sweeter we already have Gardner. :)

And Bruce or even Keane would have had 6 or 7 in by now but MON is a breath of fresh air...he wants quality and is prepared to bide his time to get it...

Spurs fans have nicknamed hin Tom Hundredstone and I think he has major problrems with his weight and injuries. I think a fit Huddlestone of 3 years ago would be a huge asset but if he was still that good, Spurs would have kept him.

I kind of agree with Mackems Rule and think Gardener now he has settled in is a better prospect.

Cest you have said it yourself many times about how MON has bought players that many would say are past there best and they have gone on to produce their best football under MON .And by saying that if he was that good Spurs would have kept him, implies that AVB knows what he is doing and I am not so sure about that !

He's only moved on loan to stoke and AVB has said he wants him to get fit get games and go back to Spurs. Im glad we aren't jeopardising Colbacks development to enhance the career of a spurs player. Im personally sick of loans and hope we are done with them unless we are desperate for cover
