I'm assuming there's quite a few on here who'll have played some of the various Howden AFC teams over the years and will be familiar with their cricket pavilion changing rooms...

Unfortunately, this was the building last night...

A couple of kids decided it would be fun to set light to a homeless mans bedding who had been using the pavilion as shelter. Luckily a couple of passers by saw them and gave a description to the plod, I suspect they will have been picked up by CCTV in the town centre at some point during the day so fingers crossed the little scrotes are caught.

That's something I'd hve done when I was younger <laugh>

They've done a cracking job by all accounts, credit where it's due. Bet they never expected it to do anything like that. Poor little mites will be ****ting their pants now.

I noticed the homeless man was walking to gilberdyke yesterday whilst it was happening, not good to come back to the only belongings he had have gone up in smoke.
what i did find funny was 1hour after the fire a donation page was set up and i guess we will see the usual look at me donating the money to get in the paper from the likes of the Butcher, landlord from that shi thole of a pub, and the grumpy old cow from the hardware shop

I find it really funny that they've set up a donation page to help the homeless man replace his only belongings that have just been burned.

If anything they should burn him as well.
