Denny's (USA) used to do a 10 minute menu and from the time the waitress took your order your grub had to turn up on time or you got it for nowt. They used to leave a little red timer on your table.

Bacon, sausage links, eggs over easy, hash browns, short stack of fluffy pancakes all covered in maple syrup with a bottomless pot of coffee.
I sometimes do an approximation for the Groves, Aunt Jemima's pancake mix and syrup are essential.

Everyone (maybe not everyone) goes on about how crappy American coffee is but I really like the swill they serve in IHOP. I am not a conissuwer, coniswer, conneshwur, an expert though.
